Why don't we make a ROBOT!!!!

We were reading Harry and the Robots by Ian Whybrow, when Krishang decided he wanted to make a robot.

Things to be collected :

Old plastic bottle
plastic ball for head

Paint brush
Acrylic paint to colour the bottle
googly eyes
Bits of Marble paper or coloured paper
2 Straws (preferably bendable) for hands
ice cream sticks for legs
Soda bottle caps (2 for legs)
Clay for balancing
Sticker or decorations for the robot
Scissors(child friendly) and a big ones to make holes for hands and legs
Glue and super glue
masking tape

How To?

Open the cap of the bottle and make holes for the hands (straw size) and legs (thickness of the ice  cream sticks) Also make holes in the bottle cap. Let the child paint the Bottle and the ball with his/her choice of acrylic paint. Paint the ice cream sticks and bottle caps. Till it dries... cut decorations, cut the straws for hands, make fingers on colour paper and tape it to the end of straw. Fix hands and legs. Stick the ball on the bottle top with super glue. Stick the googly eyes and the decorations. Last attach the bottle caps to the ice cream stick legs and align it. Then stick the clay at the bottom so that the robot wont fall.

We should not waste mumma, we should re-re-RE(bi)CYCLE!!!

RE(bi)CYCLED CAR!!!!

It all started with "I want bottle caps for wheels"
While we are talking to our friends, Krishang comes and interrupts us with excited "Look Mumma, I've collected bottle caps..we shall re-re-re-bicycle them...we'll make wheels!!!"...And like all horrified mothers i made him throw them away explaining him the hazards of picking "thrown away bottle caps"...and wash his hands....

Few months later he approached with same thing again! But, in a totally different way..."Mumma, may I have those bottle caps of your soda bottle??..I would just need 4...or maybe 6"...we let him have it...but washed and cleaned...
He would not let me throw away toothpaste box....out of which we made a bus...now this time.. it was a soap box... So here is how he did, with what.

Things to be collected :

Empty Soap Box
Soda bottle caps (4 for car, 6/8 for bus/truck)
